New Ophthalmology Patient Information - Dr. Kirk LeBlanc

I have been a patient of Dr. LeBlanc for years, and he has performed two cataract surgeries for me. I had excellent results on both of them as well as for the many other eye issues he has treated me for. He and his staff are fantastic and they always find a way to work me in when something arises. I can't say enough good things about Dr. LeBlanc and his staff.

I had cataract surgery in October, 2014. It was easier than I expected. The surgery was so quick and the recovery was so simple. Once I had the right eye done, I was ready to do the left eye. It was so wonderful to see clearly without glasses! I can now drive without glasses, watch television without glasses and only wear readers when I need to read for an extended time. I would highly recommend this surgery to anyone who wants to see the world as it is. It was truly a worthwhile and rewarding experience. I am so thankful for getting this done and am grateful to Dr. Kirk LeBlanc and his staff for making this an exciting adventure!

All I can say is "Wow!" I've been wearing glasses since the 5th grade and now I don't need to wear my glasses, for example to read labels. I had the laser procedure for multi-focal lens and pleased beyond belief! I would recommend the laser procedure to anyone who is a candidate for it.

After my exam with Dr. LeBlanc, he informed me that I needed cataract surgery. Of course I was uneasy but his care and concern eased my worry. His sincerity was exceptional and he took his time explaining the procedure and recovery process. I could not have been more pleased with Dr. LeBlanc, his staff and the Lafayette General Surgical Center. I can't speak for every doctor or facility, but this one is above and beyond. I would recommend them to anyone and I already have! I wish them only the best because that is what they give you! See for yourself! I guarantee it!!
